It looks like farmer John Sansone still wants a wife. The reality star announced his split from girlfriend Claire Dirette after nearly one year together.
“I would like to share that Claire and I ended our relationship shortly after Lollapalooza, over a week ago. This was a mutual decision based on private challenges, and had nothing to do with any reposts,” John wrote in a statement via Instagram on Saturday, August 16. “While I’ll always appreciate and respect the time we shared together, I feel it’s best to move forward separately.”
John concluded the announcement by asking that he and Claire’s public relationship turn into a “private” split.

Claire shared John’s statement to her Instagram Stories, writing, “I ain’t reading all that but ditto.”
The Michigan native no longer follows John on Instagram as of publication. However, he still follows her.
John and Claire’s breakup came weeks after they went viral while attending the Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago. The former pair shared photos together at the event, but fans loved seeing John in the crowd during Sabrina Carpenter’s set and being pointed at during her song “Manchild.”
The Missouri native and Claire met while filming Farmer Wants a Wife season 3 in fall 2024. Fans watched them strengthen their relationship and decide to continue their romance during the May 22 finale.
“I’m a firm believer that you have to put yourself in uncomfortable situations to grow as a person,” Claire captioned a May 23 montage of her journey with John on reality TV. “Filming Farmer Wants a Wife was one of the most fun, exciting, stressful and scary things I’ve pushed myself to do and the outcome was greater than I ever expected. I feel so lucky. Can’t wait to keep laughing with you @notjohnsansone.”
