In Donkey Kong Bananza, the 14th layer you’ll go to is the food-filled Feast Layer, an amusement park themed around delicious and greasy food. This place is run by lion-shaped Fractones and has rivers of hot oil, salty sands, and… green nasty muck hanging from the walls? Oh, and a ton of Banandium Gems.
Below, we list where to find all of the Banandium Gems in the Feast Layer we’ve found so far in Donkey Kong Bananza. We’re still updating this guide with more golden bananas as we find them.
Sublayer 1400 Banandium Gems
We’ve found 56 Banandium Gems in Sublayer 1400 in the Feast Layer.
This banana is skipped on the collection screen, implying that it is locked behind beating the main story of the game. We’ll update this guide when we can find and confirm this banana’s location.

#4: Fast-Paced Freestyle Bananzas
Complete the challenge with 20 seconds or more remaining on the timer to get this banana.
If you’d like to make the challenge a little easier, transform into your elephant form and do not cross the starting line. Instead, suck up the boom rock nearby and start chucking away! You can clear around 50% of the course before even starting, saving you a bit of time.
#5: Lost and Found under the Building

When you finish the challenge course, there is a platform with a balloon that you can punch to raise the platform. Do so and jump into the opening beneath it to find this banana.

You find the challenge at the first entrance to the right.
#7: Snacking from the Stockroom

After you completed the first wall with sand and wallopoids, turn right and break the sand wall between two more wallopoids to find a passage. Break the red platform to access the level below. Now, climb the wall and go right to find a single wallopoid. Bait it so it will open and you will find this banana behind it.

From the Kingly Swings tuning fork, go right and head to the large soda tank in the area. Grab a chunk of sand and go along the side of the tank until you find a blocked faucet by much. Use the sand to remove the much, which will drain the soda from the tank. Now you can go inside of it to find this banana.
#26: Battle: Muck on Parade

Graphic: Johnny Yu/Polygon | Source images: Nintendo EPD/Nintendo via Polygon
On the path below the swings, you’ll find a Constructone beside a blocked battle challenge. To defeat the muckoids inside, pick up chunks of salt and throw it at them when they appear.
#27: Shifty Smash: Over the Oil Lake

Graphic: Johnny Yu/Polygon | Source images: Nintendo EPD/Nintendo via Polygon

- A giant speaker
- Lighting equipment
- A forest of nuggets
#30: Feast Fragmentone Recovery

Graphic: Johnny Yu/Polygon | Source images: Nintendo EPD/Nintendo via Polygon
This Fragmentone can be found underneath the giant lion statue on Sublayer 1400.
The first fragment can be found inside the lion’s front left paw. Behind the Fragmentone, you’ll find a bridge that starts to sink as you walk on it. To counteract that, you’ll need to periodically jump to prevent the platform from completely submerging in the oil lake. Head over to the fragment and slowly bring them back while periodically jumping to get this banana.
#31: Feast Fragmentone Restoration
The other two fragments can be found in the lion’s front right paw. Cross the sinking bridge to the front right paw and break the red brick wall to find the two fragments. Enter this hidden room via the lion’s mouth on the side of the cliff to find the hide-and-seek Fractone.
Two of the Fractones aren’t hidden super well, retaining their shapes on the edges of the room. One of the Fractones is “hidden” on a window. Dig under the grave to the right of the Fractone (if you’re facing the pedestal that will hold the Bananadium Gem) to find a salt Fractone that doesn’t count towards the four. Dig down in front of the mucked-up grave and then use a chunk of the salt Fractone to reveal the muck Fractone.

Finish the Feast Layer Challenge Course 3 to find this banana.

Graphic: Julia Lee/Polygon | Source images: Nintendo EPD/Nintendo via Polygon
Break open the wall to the right of the oil cruise gate to find a muck-blockage. Go back outside and grab a chunk off of the salt Fractone stand on top of the french fries in the oil and use that salt to clear the muck. After the water drains, leave the cave and go up to the pool outside to claim your banana.

Graphic: Julia Lee/Polygon | Source images: Nintendo EPD/Nintendo via Polygon

You can find this shifty triangle in front of the oil cruise, on the other side of the wall, either just from climbing up and around it or from crossing through the Refinery Getaway. You can use Snake Bananza to destroy the shifty Fractone shape that spawns by punching the lower part and charge jumping through it.
#47: Danger Doubling Back

Graphic: Julia Lee/Polygon | Source images: Nintendo EPD/Nintendo via Polygon
Approach where the path splits off slightly between the oil cruise and Fried Pride Plaza to find a wallopoid that opens a gate to a voided banana. Follow the void trail and then break the void device. You’ll need to backtrack to the banana while being careful of wallopoids that will now try to crush you.
#48: Battle: Labyrinth Lurkers

Graphic: Julia Lee/Polygon | Source images: Nintendo EPD/Nintendo via Polygon
While facing the Fried Pride Plaza tuning fork and the burger and fries bridge, take the path on the right and it will lead you directly to the battle challenge. Complete it and you’ll be awarded with this banana.

Ride the minecart to the left at the Grater-Go-Round Station and throw the chunk at the arrow to redirect the mine cart to the right. Get off on the To-Go Box Station with the elephant and melon. Transform into your elephant form and suck up salt on the ground to store a few salt chunks. Switch to your snake form and charge jump to the top level and break the red wall. Swap back to elephant and throw your salt chunks at the muck to get rid of it — revealing the banana at the end of the path.

#52: Folded into the Patty

Graphic: Julia Lee/Polygon | Source images: Nintendo EPD/Nintendo via Polygon
This banana is inside the bottom-most meat paddy of the giant burger. Find it using DK’s Hand Slap sonar and dig carefully around it. If you’ve already cleared up the void goop in the middle of the burger, you may accidentally end up digging straight into the center hole, which will send you to the next sublayer.
#53: Order Up at the Banana Burger!

Graphic: Julia Lee/Polygon | Source images: Nintendo EPD/Nintendo via Polygon
This is a story-based banana that you’ll find at the top of the burger tower.

Graphic: Julia Lee/Polygon | Source images: Nintendo EPD/Nintendo via Polygon
Use DK’s Hand Slap to launch this salt tower up towards the exit of this room, but turn around to see a banana, well, stuck in the muck. Throw chunks of salt at it until it’s safe to jump on to the platform to claim this banana.
This banana is skipped on the collection screen, implying that it is locked behind beating the main story of the game. We’ll update this guide when we can find and confirm this banana’s location.
