Filming for Netflix’s new mystery thriller K-drama, Road, is set to start in June 2025. The series will be led by Korea’s Son Suk Ku and Japan’s Eita Nagayama. Here’s everything we know about Road on Netflix.

Road is an upcoming South Korean Netflix Original mystery thriller directed by Han Jun Hee and produced by the South Korean studio Shortcake.

For more information on K-dramas, visit this page for the latest news. We also have an ongoing preview for all of the new K-dramas coming to Netflix in 2025.

What is the plot of Road?

Details of the plot are limited, but so far, we know that the story will be centered on Korean detective Kang Cheong Do, who Japanese Inspector Inose joins, as they investigate a bizarre murder case that will take them across Korea and Japan.

Who are the cast members of Road?

So far, we only have two actors cast for Road: Eita Nagayama and Sukku Son.

Eita Nagayama plays Inose. The Japanese actor has yet to star in a Netflix Original series, but can be seen on Netflix in Japanese dramas such as Nodame Cantabile, Orange Days, Unnatural, and Why I Dress Up for Love. His last television appearances were in 2023 in dramas such as Don’t Use Time Travel for Love and Even If You Don’t Do It.
