The teaser features a very frustrated Sharon (Diane Farr) and Manny (Kevin Alejandro), as they vent to each other. They are each struggling for very different reasons, but thankfully have each other for support.
In the clip, Manny finds Sharon trying to fix the fire truck, and it’s not going well. Sharon is frustrated and reaches a breaking point, which prompts Manny to check on her.
“Sharon, you can’t fix it, you can’t fix everything, all right? Some things are just out of your control,” he tells her, but Sharon pivots to a different topic—Manny’s ex, Roberta (Paola Núñez), popping back up in Edgewater.
Roberta’s timing couldn’t be worse either, as Manny just embarked on a new romance with Camille (Natalie Zea). It turns out Roberta won’t leave Manny alone, “calling, texting, freaking Camille out,” and the latter isn’t interested in having his meddling ex around.

Manny hints that things with Roberta always get bad before revealing that, at least this time, Gabriela (Stephanie Arcila) won’t be around to see the damage Roberta does to his life.
“I’m not going to get sucked in,” he tells Sharon, and while it’s good advice, Sharon still has to deal with the fire truck.
The clip highlights the close friendship between Sharon and Manny, which has been strong since Fire Country premiered on CBS. Manny and Sharon have a bestie bond like no other, and it has only gotten stronger since Vince’s (Billy Burke) death.
That’s just the tip of the iceberg of what Fire Country has in store for fans on the next episode. A synopsis for Fire Country Season 4 Episode 17 reads: “When a powerful storm sends a massive telephone pole crashing through a family home and traps a woman inside, Station 42 races against time to try and pull off a dangerous rescue.”
Fire Country airs Fridays at 9/8c on CBS.
