First Look at Cast Revealed

The religious drama Unchosen will be coming to Netflix soon! We have our first look at the series with cast members Molly Windsor, Asa Butterfield, Fre Fee, Siobhan Finneran, and Christopher Eccleston. Here’s everything we know so far. 

Unchosen is an upcoming Netflix Original psychological thriller series written, created, and produced by Julie Gearey. The series is directed by Jim Loach (Criminal Record) and Philippa Langdale (A Discovery of Witches). Double Dutch Productions is the studio behind the series, with executive producer Iona Vrolyk and Myar Craig-Brown, and producer Nick Pitt.

When is the Netflix release date for Unchosen?

Netflix has yet to disclose when Unchosen will be released. However, given the official images and teaser trailer released, we’d expect a release window or a release date announcement soon.

What is the plot of Unchosen?

Netflix has released the synopsis for Unchosen:

“Rosie lives with her husband Adam and daughter in a cloistered Christian sect. The fateful arrival of escaped prisoner Sam into her life, reveals the reality and restraints of her world; perhaps this hidden religious community doesn’t have her best interests at heart. And, as the cracks begin to appear in her marriage, Sam presents as her saviour. But with his dark criminal past, where does the greatest danger lie – with the cult or with Sam?”

Who are the cast members of Unchosen?

Molly Windsor (Three Girls) plays Rosie, Asa Butterfield (Sex Education) plays Adam, Fra Fee (Hawkeye) plays Sam, Siobhan Finneran (Downton Abbey) plays Mrs. Phillips, and Christopher Eccleston (Dr. Who) plays Mr. Phillips.

What is the episode count?

Netflix has confirmed there will be six episodes. Runtimes are approximately 50 minutes.
