Former Nickelodeon Star Addresses Rumor That Dan Schneider Got Her Pregnant at 13

21 November 20252 Mins Read

Amanda Bynes is shutting down a disturbing — and completely fabricated — rumor circulating on TikTok.

Earlier this week, a viral video claimed the former Nickelodeon star alleged she got pregnant by ex-Nickelodeon producer Dan Schneider at age 13. But Bynes told TMZon Thursday, November 20, that the clip is a total fake, stitched together from old footage to make it appear she was making some serious accusations.

According to Bynes, the TikTok wasn’t posted from her account at all. She says the creator spliced together several unrelated videos—including a recent Instagram Story—to manufacture “lies for click bait.” In the doctored edit, the camera cuts away before panning over to the man she’s currently dating, creating the illusion she’s naming Schneider.

The rumor arrives as Schneider continues to battle fallout from Quiet on Set, the explosive docuseries that detailed allegations of abusive behavior during his Nickelodeon era. Schneider is currently suing the producers for defamation, claiming the project falsely portrayed him as a child predator.

Bynes, meanwhile, is focused on her own life and well-being — and she’s been open with fans about the progress she’s making. The actress, now 39, recently shared an update on her health journey after revealing she’s lost 20 pounds using Ozempic.

She told followers in a November 9 TikTok that she’s “so excited” about her weight loss, explaining that she switched from the pill form of Ozempic to injections after initially gaining weight. “I’m 163 now…I actually shot up on the Ozempic pill to 180 from 173. I was able to lose 20 pounds from 180 and now I’m down to 163 on the Ozempic injection,” she said.

“So, I’m really glad that I’m on the injection, it’s really working for me,” Bynes added, noting she hopes to lose “about 15 more pounds” to feel “skinny and cute.”Bynes remains one of the most recognizable faces of early-2000s pop culture, having risen to fame as a breakout teen comedian on Nickelodeon’s All That before headlining her own hit sketch series, The Amanda Show.
