- The Formula 1 Grand Prix event in Saudi Arabia resulted in the highest hotel occupancy rate in Jeddah for April.
- Alongside record occupancy, the market registered its highest April Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR) since 2014.
Preliminary data from property market analyst CoStar show that the Formula 1 Grand Prix event in Jeddah led to the highest April occupancy rate ever recorded in the city’s hotel industry.
The occupancy rate in April 2025 was 82.5%, reflecting a 21.1% increase year over year.
The Average Daily Rate (ADR) stood at SAR833.79, a 9.6% increase, while the Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR) reached SAR688.23, marking a 32.7% increase. This is the highest April RevPAR recorded since 2014.
On 20th April, the highest daily occupancy of 96.5% was witnessed, the highest since June 2014.
ADR and RevPAR peaked on the second night of the event, marking the highest in Jeddah since March 2024.
Daily occupancy levels stayed above 70% throughout April on all but three days.
