Four Seasons, in collaboration with Strategic Property Partners, is set to develop a new hotel and residential project in Charleston, South Carolina.

Four Seasons has announced a development project for a new hotel and private residences in Charleston’s historic district. The project, a partnership with Strategic Property Partners, will feature 139 hotel rooms and 36 branded residences. The new establishment, Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Charleston, will be an eight-story building within walking distance of major attractions such as King Street, the Historical Charleston City Market, and the Gibbes Museum of Art.

The development aims to integrate Charleston’s historical charm with modern amenities, aligning with the city’s reputation for hospitality. The hotel will include four restaurants and bars, an outdoor pool with private cabanas, and approximately 7,000 square feet of event space suitable for various gatherings, including weddings and corporate events.

The Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Charleston will also offer a full-service spa with private treatment rooms and hydro-thermal facilities, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and curated retail spaces. The residential component will consist of 36 units ranging from 2,000 square feet to 3,700 square feet. These residences will offer two to five bedrooms, with prices starting at USD 5 million. Residents will have access to a range of personalized services such as in-residence dining, housekeeping, concierge assistance, and a private entrance.

Morris Adjmi Architects will lead the project’s architectural design, with hotel interiors by Lark Design Studios and landscape architecture by Hollander Design. This team aims to reflect Charleston’s historical and cultural richness in the building’s architecture and interior design.
