From Flushing, Queens to Santa Margherita di Pula, Italy! Fran Drescher, 67, walked the red carpet at the Filming Italy 2025 event on Thursday, June 19, and the ageless beauty’s dramatic look was something straight out of Fran Fine’s closet.
The sexy 90s-inspired outfit features a fuschia and white Majolica-print Dolce and Gabbana bodycon corset dress with a matching mini jacket cropped at the natural waist. The big cuffs and collar had a vintage flair, and the whole look was topped off with matching stiletto pumps and a white bag. The Nanny star wore her naturally wavy hair down, showcasing her signature widow’s peak.

Drescher is no stranger to Dolce and Gabbana. In fact, many of her iconic outfits in The Nanny were from the iconic design house. “It was a very mutually beneficial relationship that we had with all of them because they made their designs available to us, and we kind of put it out there on a global scale,” Drescher told Today in July 2018 about how her character ended up with such a luxurious closet.
“It was really, really great, and to this day, I’m very supportive of the designers,” she said, which also included Moschino and Todd Oldham.

The same designers are still responsible for many of her red carpet looks today. While heading to the Golden Globe Awards on January 5, 2025, Drescher posted a video blowing a kiss to the camera and shouted out the designers in the caption. “Off to the Golden Globes! All Dolce & Gabbana all the time,” she wrote. “Ty A-Team. You did it again!”
