Toronto, mark your calendars, because when you fuel up on Oct. 16, you’ll save money — and help support children’s health in Ontario.
On Oct. 16, Circle K is making it easier and more impactful than ever for people in Ontario to support children’s health. Circle K is launching a special “Day of Support” for Ontario Children’s Hospital, powered by two distinct initiatives: Fuel Day and Circle K Hero Day.
During Fuel Day, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Ontarians can receive a 10 cents per litre discount on fuel. For every fill-up, $1.00 will be donated to Ontario Children’s Hospitals (up to $50,000). What’s more, Circle K Froster Active Kids will match these donations up to an additional $50,000.
Circle K’s Fuel Day may not technically be a holiday, but it’s worth celebrating nonetheless.
These donations help doctors, nurses, and staff across the province provide the best possible care and support to young patients.
For decades, hospitals and foundations like the CHEO Foundation, MacKids, Children’s Health Foundation in London, and Sick Kids Foundation have been achieving remarkable outcomes through research, equipment, staff training, family emergency support, and hospital enhancements.
Snack like a hero
The goodness doesn’t stop there. Oct. 16 may be Fuel Day, but in Ontario it’s also Hero Day, which means that 100 per cent of the proceeds from certain in-store Circle K products will go to Ontario Children’s Hospitals as well.
These include 500ml Circle K Water, 460ml Bfit, 225g GCMC Mini Pepperoni Sticks, and 46g Reese’s Singles. If you’re feeling snacky, don’t hesitate to indulge – it’s for a good cause, after all.
While fuel savings take place between 3 p.m and 6 p.m., snack donations are happening all day long. Visit a Circle K near you on Oct. 16 to support Fuel Day and Hero Day.
