Fans of Alan Tudyk and Resident Alien have been waiting ever so patiently for a fourth season of the show. The show was on the bubble at the end of a truncated third season (ue to a variety of factors like the entertainment industry strikes. But the show was finally picked up in mid-June of last year with one major change. The show, which had its home on SYFY, would be relocating to USA Network.
The series, which is led by the Firefly actor, revolves around an alien whose mission is to destroy all human life on Earth. Bt he crash lands on the very planet he is supposed to destroy and must disguise himself as a human while he recovers the parts and fix his spaceship. He takes over the first human body he sees, a reclusive doctor named Harry Vanderspiegle. Hoping to live a quiet, unencumbered existence until he can fix his ship and fly home, he is roped into performing an autopsy by the local sheriff (Corey Reynolds) when the town doctor (Jan Bos) is found dead. Harry discovers community and friendship amongst the inhabitants of Paitence, Colorado, and his entire worldview changes.

Fast forward a few seasons later, and Harry is now trying to save the Earth instead of destroy it. When another alien species, the Greys, look to take over the Earth, Harry and his friends do everything to stop it. By the third season finale, Harry found himself locked in a Grey jail cell on a secret base hidden inside Earth’s moon, D’arcy (Alice Wetterlund) had stolen back Kate (Meredith Garrettson) and Ben’s (Levi Fiehler) newborn baby from the Greys, and a head-eating alien species called a Mantid took over Harry’s disguise and is now pretending to be him.
The Season 4 premiere comes with plenty of questions that need to be answered. Will Harry escape his jail cell? Is Max (Judah Prehn) is the only one who knows the current alien Harry in Patience isn’t his alien buddy? What will happen with Sheriff Mike after he accidentally knocked out a Grey, getting his first exposure to an alien? And will D’arcy be able to reunite Kate and Ben with their newborn daughter?
