Giant outdoor festival in Toronto will feature over 400 artists

15 May 20252 Mins Read

Summer in Toronto is all about outdoor cultural festivals, and a beloved summer festival is officially returning this year. The Toronto Outdoor Art Fair (TOAF) is once again touching down at Nathan Phillips Square from July 11 to 13, and art lovers can expect a jam-packed weekend of culture and connections.

Marking its 64th year, the TOAF is an iconic summer experience, and for 2025, over 400 independent artists are ready to show off their works! Even more exciting, there will be 70 artists from across Canada and 155 joining for their first time.

White tents will dot the square’s grounds as you walk through the rows and rows of beautiful works, including pieces from the National Courier, and a host of artwork from non-local artists, including those from Alberta, B.C., Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and Quebec. Plus the Atlantic Canada Zone, curated by Bushra Junaid, which will platform five emerging artists, including featured painter Luanne Dominix from the east side.

Don’t forget to check out the Unique Quebec Returns programming, which will feature work from 27 in-person and five online artists, and the Northwest Territories Online Showcase, with six artists representing the art scene from Northern Canada.

And since this fair is free to enter, you can save a couple of dollars to put towards your latest art purchase.

Get ready for a summer art crawl, Toronto!
