The Global Wellness Summit (GWS) has announced that its 19th annual conference will take place in Dubai from November 18-21, 2025. The event will focus on the theme “Longevity Through a Wellness Lens,” addressing the growing emphasis on longevity and healthspan within the wellness industry. This marks the first time the Summit will be held in the Middle East’s Gulf Region.
The conference will bring together leaders from various sectors, including wellness companies, healthcare professionals, investors, and policymakers. Discussions will cover the future of wellness, innovations, and evidence-based practices, with a particular focus on the role of wellness in promoting longevity.
The event will be hosted at the Mandarin Oriental Downtown Dubai, a new wellness destination. The Middle East-North Africa region, particularly the UAE, has seen significant growth in wellness markets, making it a strategic location for the Summit. The region’s wellness economy has been expanding rapidly, with the UAE being a key player.
The Summit will feature a special focus on wellness real estate, a rapidly growing market projected to reach $1.1 trillion by 2029. The Global Wellness Institute will present new research and case studies, highlighting the sector’s growth, especially in the Middle East-North Africa region, where it expanded from $710 million in 2019 to $2 billion in 2024.
Additionally, the Summit will introduce a new collaborative platform where executives from different wellness segments will engage in closed-door sessions to explore potential joint initiatives. This aims to foster cooperation among competitors to advance the industry.
The 2025 Summit will be co-chaired by Michael Roizen, MD, of the Cleveland Clinic; Jeremy Jauncey, founder of Beautiful Destinations; Ömer K. Isvan, president of Servotel; and Anna Bjurstam, a wellness advisor for Six Senses. These leaders will guide the conference’s discussions and initiatives.
The Middle East’s wellness market has been one of the fastest-growing globally, with the UAE playing a significant role. The region’s wellness tourism market has seen substantial growth, supported by national investments in health and wellness infrastructure.
The Global Wellness Summit remains a platform for industry leaders to discuss and shape the future of the wellness economy, which is valued at $6.3 trillion globally. Registration for the 2025 conference is now open.
