Whether you’re going back to education, upskilling, or starting your college journey for the first time, choosing a program can feel like a big deal — because it is! So, why not take a “test drive” before making the leap?
On Thursday, April 3, Vancouver’s Langara College is opening its doors for LangaraFest, a one-night event that gives you a chance to explore its campus, programs, and services.
With over 150 programs to choose from — we’re talking everything from theatre to computer science and engineering — this is your opportunity to dive in, ask questions, and see what Langara all is about. Plus, you might even be in with a chance to win credits toward the tuition fees of your dream program.
What to expect

Throughout the evening, you’ll have the chance to chat with instructors and learn about programs directly from the experts. Faculty deans will also be hosting special presentations, giving you insight into the unique opportunities within each department.
Want to get a feel for student life? Take a guided campus tour through classrooms, labs, and creative spaces, or sit in on the student experience panel, where you can hear firsthand stories from current students and alumni.
No event is complete without great food — so there will be local food trucks onsite where you can grab a bite to eat throughout the night.
Win tuition credits
The best part? You’ll have the chance to win one of 10 tuition credits worth $1,000 each — money that could go straight toward your studies. That means you’re in the running to score some serious savings on your education and give yourself a head start financially just by attending LangaraFest.
