Go wild and enjoy an after-hours evening at the Edmonton Valley Zoo

16 July 20252 Mins Read

This adults-only evening at the Edmonton Valley Zoo is perfect for both animal and beer lovers alike.

Complete with live music, local food vendors, and breweries, as well as the magic of exotic and wild animals, Zoobrew transforms the family-friendly atmosphere of the local Valley Zoo into an ultra-fun escape.

Whether it’s a fun night out with friends, a date night with your partner, or a treat to yourself, Zoobrew is a good time you won’t want to miss out on.

The Edmonton Valley Zoo showcases some of the best local breweries, wineries, and distilleries in the region, with participating breweries hand-selected for their quality, sustainability, and creativity.

For those who don’t drink alcohol, don’t worry. Select breweries and distilleries offer non-alcoholic options in addition to the beverage options served at food trucks and service stations.

Some of the food vendors for Vol. 2 of Zoobrew are Starvin Marvin’s, The Lemon Grass Grill, and the Ukrainian House. The full list for the July and August dates is available on the Zoobrew website.

While tasting some delicious food and drink, live entertainment features local artists ranging in genres from indie rock to soulful ballads. If you’re more interested in the animal-related part of the evening, check out one of the special animal talks with fan-favourite zoo residents.

Three volumes of this series are scheduled for this year, with the first having already taken place on June 21. The next installations of Zoobrew will be held on July 19 and Aug. 22.

Not only does this event act as a night of entertainment, but attending helps raise funds for the community zoo and ensures its success for many years to come.

Ticket prices only include admission to Zoobrew. Liquor sample tickets can be purchased separately during the event, at 20 tickets for $20.

When: Saturday, Jul. 19, 2025 and Friday, Aug. 22, 2025
Time: 5 to 11 p.m.
Where: Edmonton Valley Zoo — 13315 Buena Vista Rd. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $33.50 per person
