Godzilla will return to Marvel Comics in Godzilla: Infinity Roar

8 October 20253 Mins Read

The Marvel universe hasn’t seen the last of Godzilla. In 2026, the kaiju will head to outer space in Godzilla: Infinity Roar, a five-issue limited series that’ll follow the King of the Monsters as he leaves a trail of destruction across the cosmos.

Godzilla: Infinity Roar is the latest collaboration between Marvel Comics and Toho International, which also partnered for the Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe limited series and Godzilla Vs the Marvel Universe one-shots. Infinity Roar won’t just feature Godzilla tearing things up: Knull, the God of Symbiotes (recently just-barely-seen as the villain in Venom: The Last Dance) will be along for the ride in “a new campaign for galactic conquest,” according to the series’ official description. Expect Godzilla and Knull’s reign of terror to spread across the Marvel cosmos as the Galactic Empire of Wakanda, Sh’iar Empires, and Kree-Skrull space all get name-dropped.

In a news release, writer Gerry Duggan teased the series by saying, “The ideas that are in the mix now are going to make this the biggest, craziest and most dangerous Godzilla crossover ever. The Marvel Universe has never been in more peril! See you in space.”

Duggan will be joined by Javier Garron and Ig Guara on art for the series. Here’s the official description, plus a look at three covers for the first issue:

• THE KING OF THE MONSTERS MEETS THE KING IN BLACK! EARTH’S MIGHTIEST HEROES UNLEASH THE GALAXY’S DEADLIEST THREAT AS GODZILLA RAMPAGES ACROSS THE COSMOS!

• The combined forces of Earth’s mightiest heroes managed to spare Earth by exiling GODZILLA off into space… but in doing so may have just heralded the end of the larger galaxy! As KNULL, the god of the symbiotes fans the flames of Godzilla’s anger, a new campaign for galactic conquest begins with the KING OF THE MONSTERS and the KING IN BLACK at the helm! Will the cosmos be able to band together to stop the two juggernauts, or will a new era of death and destruction descend upon the cosmos? On things for sure, from the GALACTIC EMPIRE OF WAKANDA, SH’IAR EMPIRES, KREE-SKRULL space and beyond, no planet will be safe as Godzilla destroys the MARVEL GALAXY!
