Mosaic Hotel Collection, in partnership with Napa Valley Land Company, has announced the commencement of construction on The Elene, a boutique resort and dining establishment set to open in Napa Valley in early 2026. The Elene, designed by Signum Architecture and Parts and Labor Design, aims to revamp the traditional wine country getaway by integrating active community experiences with serene sanctuary spaces. The resort will be situated along the Napa Valley Vine Trail, providing guests with direct trail access.
The Elene will feature 50 guest rooms and suites, a heated pool, a Recovery Garden, and a fitness studio. The resort will also include public amenities such as a restaurant, bar, café, outdoor “Living Room”, and a comprehensive cycling program. The overall design and programming of The Elene are intended to foster engagement between the community and the surrounding natural landscape.
“The Elene offers an immersive and authentic Napa Valley experience by encouraging guests to engage with their surroundings,” said Tim Harmon, CEO of Mosaic Hotel Collection. “Our focus is on providing a platform for genuine connection by eliminating distractions.”
The resort will be on a 3.5-acre property as a bridge connecting the community to the Napa Valley Vine Trail. The Elene’s location amidst vineyards, just a few miles from downtown Napa and Yountville, will provide easy access to world-class restaurants, wineries, retail shops, entertainment venues, and more.
The Elene’s design, developed by award-winning firms Signum Architecture and Parts and Labor Design, will feature standalone structures surrounding a central arrival area, interconnected by beautifully landscaped outdoor gathering spaces. The resort is committed to minimizing its environmental impact with initiatives such as a water recycling program, solar program, and incentives to encourage guests to walk or bike to the property.
The resort’s 50 suites and rooms will offer private sanctuaries with private side entries, large bathrooms, luxurious finishes, and spacious decks with stunning views. The Elene will also provide public dining options on site, including an upscale restaurant, a bar, and a café, catering to local residents and travelers.
The Elene’s unique amenities are designed to provide guests with the necessities to actively explore the region or to relax and rejuvenate. These include an outdoor “Living Room,” a heated 25-yard pool, a water recovery circuit, a transformative Recovery Garden, a fitness studio, a cycling program, and multiple gathering lawns.
The Elene, a project of the Mosaic Hotel Collection, will be constructed by Nordby Construction, a company with decades of experience building wineries in the Napa Valley region.
