Guy Fieri‘s lip-smacking collaboration just dropped this morning, following a similar trend set by Baskin-Robbins, Chipotle and Dunkin’.
The Food Network star might not be the first “icon” to come to mind for a lipstick-related collaboration, but a spokesperson for Revlon explained that was kind of the point, that the company knew it had to “think outside the box” if it wanted to co-sign on an “epic collaboration.”
So, in honor of National Chicken Wing Day and National Lipstick Day, which both happen to fall on July 29, the creative geniuses at Revlon came up with the perfect recipe–one only the namesake of Chicken Guy could get behind.

On Wednesday, the beloved makeup company revealed it tapped the Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives star for a “bold” and “saucy” limited-edition release: Revlon’s Super Lustrous Glass Shine Balm in the shade “Flavortown.”
“Of course, National Chicken Wing Day is a major holiday in Flavortown so it was already on my radar,” Fieri, 57, joked in a statement. “But when Revlon hit me up to team up on a fiery collab combining it with National Lipstick Day, I was all in.”
“This is the next level collab you’ve been waiting for!” he concluded.
The cult favorite product in the exclusive shade appears to color-match Fieri’s Flavortown sauce with a peachy red tone, and it will only be available for one week (unless it sells out first).

“Revlon is a proud leader in the lip category, so winning in culturally relevant moments like National Lipstick Day is a must for us. To break through in such a crowded space, we knew we had to think outside the box and when we realized that National Chicken Wing Day fell on the same day, an epic collaboration idea came together,” Kelly Solomon, chief digital marketing officer at Revlon explained.
“Revlon and Guy Fieri are two American icons celebrating one iconic day in a bold, unexpected way,” Solomon added.
Revlon’s Flavortown lip color is available for a limited time only, beginning today and running through the “big holidays” on Tuesday, exclusively via the Revlon webstore. Each order also comes with wing, spice, and Flavor King-inspired stickers to customize the lip product’s packaging.
