Handwritten Collection has opened its 50th hotel, marking its presence in 20 countries. The brand, launched by Accor in 2023, has more than 50 additional hotels currently in development.
The development pipeline includes Treasure Island TI Las Vegas – Handwritten Collection, which will become the brand’s second address in the United States and its first in Las Vegas.
Recent openings include:
– Hotel Rathauspark Wien – Handwritten Collection, opened January 2026 in Vienna, Austria, located behind a historic façade and influenced by local culture and heritage.
– Hotel Shanghai Hongqiao – Handwritten Collection, opened February 2026 in Shanghai, China, with 360 rooms, meeting spaces, and wellness and dining options.
– Château de Mazan – Handwritten Collection, opened March 2026 in France at the foot of Mont Ventoux, with 31 rooms and gardens.
Recent signings include:
– Hotel Aeschi Interlaken – Handwritten Collection, scheduled to open in Summer 2026 in the Swiss Alps, with 40 rooms, a restaurant, bar, wellness facilities, and meeting spaces.
– The Queen at Chester Hotel – Handwritten Collection, expected to open in Summer 2026 in Chester, United Kingdom. The 218-room hotel, originally built in 1860, will reopen after a £5 million renovation and will offer dining, social spaces, and event facilities.
– Palais am Schlossgarten Merseburg – Handwritten Collection, planned to open in Q1 2027 in Germany, with 133 rooms, a restaurant, bar, wellness facilities, and ten meeting spaces.
– Satori Resort – Handwritten Collection, scheduled to open in 2028 in Bali, Indonesia, with 154 keys, including guest rooms and private villas.
Handwritten Collection’s development pipeline includes more than 50 hotels set to join the brand in the coming years as it continues to expand into new destinations and attract independent hotels.
