Hard Rock International and Mundo Planalto held a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction for Hard Rock Hotel Gramado. The event took place at the future project site in Gramado, Brazil, and was attended by company executives, local authorities, partners, and community members. A reception followed at Hard Rock Cafe Gramado.
The hotel is planned to open in late 2028. The development will feature 858 guestrooms, restaurants, a coffee shop, a lobby bar, additional bar concepts, a spa, retail space, leisure areas, amenities, technology, and meeting facilities, including three ballrooms and breakout rooms.
Mundo Planalto is responsible for the development and construction of the project, as well as the commercialization and management of a fractional ownership model. Under this model, buyers can acquire fractional ownership interests that grant access to accommodations and shared-use vacation experiences. Hard Rock International is expected to operate the hotel after construction is completed.
The project is designed to reflect Gramado’s architectural style and mountain setting. The resort will offer accommodations, leisure, wellness, dining, and entertainment options. The development is also expected to have an economic impact in the region through job creation and tourism.
Hard Rock Hotel Gramado will be located in Gramado, a destination in Brazil known for its colder climate and year-round tourism. The area is recognized for its cultural and seasonal events.
