It’s almost that time of year again! Thousands of EDM fans will soon flock to Toronto’s Downsview Park grounds for one of the biggest music weekends of the summer. Veld, the three-day festival, is back this August with massive international acts, the craziest bats, and unforgettable energy.
Whether you’re a seasoned raver or a first-time attendee, we’ve got you covered. Here, we’ve put together a pretty straightforward guide to make sure your Veld experience is worry-free.

When is Veld?
This year’s Veld Music Festival will take place from Friday, July 31, to Sunday, Aug. 2, 2026. Doors open at 2 p.m.
Where is it located?
Your favourite summer festival is taking place at Downsview Park, 1-35 Carl Hall Rd.
How do I get there?
If you’re travelling by TTC, head to the Downsview Park Station. Once you get there, walk west on Sheppard Avenue for about 10 minutes until you see the Festival Terrace at Downsview Park. The main entrance gates are located on Carl Hall Road.
What am I allowed to bring?
According to Veld’s official page, ticket holders are allowed to bring:
- Government-issued photo identification
Plastic water bottles and CamelBaks (with no more than two main compartments and one smaller compartment) — EMPTY upon entry - Cell phones
- Fanny packs
- Sunglasses & hats
- Cream-based sunscreen — subject to a security check
- Sticks of hard deodorant
- Toiletry wipes
- Lighters and factory sealed packs of cigarettes and factory sealed disposable e-cigarettes
- Earplugs
- Powder makeup and factory sealed tampons
- Sealed packs of gum
- Physician-prescribed medication that is not expired and only enough for use on the day. The label on the bottle must include the following: your name (matching your photo ID), name of the medication, directions to use, date the prescription was filled. Medicines will be reviewed upon entry.
- Flags/banners or handmade signs (no metal or wood flag poles)
- Non-professional flash/still cameras, handheld video devices under 6″
- Empty water guns
- Inflatable Beach balls
- Factory sealed glow-sticks
- Glowing/illuminated costumes or jewelry
- Sealed lip balm
- Hula-Hoops
- Poi Balls
- Dragon Ribbons
- Flow Wands
- Glow Whips
- Totems using poles made with pool noodles or PVC

Though we’re only days away from the big weekend, VIP tickets are still available online.
Not into VIP? No worries. VELD single-day passes can be purchased online. Orders for these will be held at Will Call at the VELD Music Festival Box Office at Downsview Park.
