The tributes continue to pour in for soap legend Tristan Rogers, days after his death at age 79. John Stamos is one of the latest people to honor Rogers and reveal the impact he had on his life.
General Hospital fans will remember that Stamos got his start on the ABC soap. From 1982 to 1984, he played troubled bad boy Blackie Parrish.

Taking to Instagram, Stamos honored his former co-star Rogers with several throwback photos and a heartfelt message. The photos featured some behind-the-scenes moments that included another famous face, Demi Moore.
“Heartbroken to hear about Tristan Rogers. He was so much fun to work with on @generalhospitalabc A true character. Tristan always had that sparkle in his eye that made me smile, and he was a damn good actor. More than that, he was kind to me when I was young, and I never forgot it,” Stamos wrote.
The actor went on to explain about the photos he chose to share to pay tribute to Rogers. “These are some pictures from my last day — including sweet ones of Tristan with my mom, and even a few with @demimoore . Grateful I got to share time with him. Rest easy, Tristan. 💔✨”

Moore originated the role of Jackie Templeton on the ABC soap and was on for the same two years as Stamos.
Rogers’ death has rocked the soap world, and the tributes just keep pouring in. As Parade reported, his on-screen loves, Finola Hughes (Anna) and Emma Samms (Holly), released statements following the sad news.
Kimberly McCullough (Robin) played Rogers’ on-screen daughter since she was 7 years old. She spoke out following Rogers’ passing, keeping her message short and sweet.
