Here’s how you can get into Edmonton’s KDays for FREE this year

3 July 20252 Mins Read

Ready to rock the sunny season? Summer 2025 is here, and KDays, an Edmonton staple, is just around the corner.

Don’t want to miss one of the year’s biggest events, but need to save some money? You’re in luck, because there are several value days where you can get in for free.

KDays 2025

On July 18, 10 days of fun, food, and fresh air will kick off at the Edmonton EXPO Centre and Exhibition Grounds.

From rides and games to live music, there is no shortage of things to do and see, but it can get pretty expensive.

Want to save a few bucks for beer or bottled water? Here’s when you can get through the gate without reaching for your wallet.

Opening Day

Hungry? On July 18, enjoy fresh air, fun, and flapjacks at the Premier’s breakfast in Klondike Park!

From 9 to 11 a.m., enjoy pancakes, eggs, sausage, coffee, and juice, and for the first 5,000 people, receive free passes to KDays courtesy of North Central Co-op.

When: Friday, July 18, 2025

Community Day

Those who have an Edmonton Public Library card, a Telus World of Science, City of Edmonton Rec Centre, or a Leisure Access Program membership can enjoy FREE entry to KDays on July 20. All you have to do is show your card at the gate.

When: Sunday, July 20, 2025

Transit Tuesday

On July 22, pack some sunscreen, lace up a pair of comfortable shoes and head to KDays, but don’t forget your Access and Resources for Community (ARC) card. Anyone who flashes it at the front gate will receive free admission and can enjoy a day of fun in the sun for less.

When: Tuesday, July 22, 2025

Throwback Thursday

Lastly, on July 24, KDays will throw it all the way back. On the last Thursday of the event, seniors will be able to get in for free until 6 p.m. All they have to do is show their ID at the gates.

Where: Thursday, July 24, 2025
