As Dancing with the Stars turns 20 this year, it’s been astounding to watch the professional dancers become celebrities in their own right. Nowhere is this better represented than Derek Hough and Julianne Hough, as the brother/sister duo started as pros on the ABC reality series before going on to become household names. They’ve now returned back to where it all began, as Derek and Julianne are back on DWTS as judge and cohost, respectively. But which pros will be joining them this fall on Season 34?
Luckily, unlike other years, not much sleuthing needs to be done on our part. That’s because judge Carrie Ann Inaba accidentally posted two slides on her Instagram story on Wednesday, Aug. 27, which may have revealed the entire pro cast for Season 34. Based on that information, as well as other news that’s come out in the offseason, here are all the pros we believe are returning to Dancing with the Stars in 2025.

This would be Alan Bersten’s 10th DWTS season. He won the Mirror Ball Trophy alongside former BacheloretteHannah Brown in Season 28.
Brandon Armstrong
Season 34 marks the eighth season for Brandon Armstrong. After spending the majority of his DWTS saddled with partners that left him going out early, he finally struck gold with Pretty Little Liars star Chandler Kinney, though the two ultimately won bronze.

Ezra Sosa had a short, but memorable run in his debut on Season 33 last year. His short-lived partnership with Anna Delvey went viral, and Ezra has generally lit up social media with his posts all year long.

This is season number thirteen for Gleb Savchenko. And he hopes it will be a lucky one, as he has yet to take home a Mirror Ball Trophy. Gleb has had a number of memorable partners over the years, from being part of the first male-male pair with drag queen Shangela to romancing his partner Brooks Nader last year.

Mark Ballas

If Mark Ballas is indeed appearing on Season 34, it would be a whopping 21st time he would be in competition for the Mirror Ball. Mark started all the way back in Season 6 and has won three times with Olympians Kristi Yamaguchi and Shawn Johnson, as well as his last season with TikToker Charli D’Amelio. Mark also ditched his dancing shoes for a hood to compete on The Traitors Season 4, which is set to air in 2026 on Peacock.
Pasha Pashkov
This would be Pasha Pashkov’s seventh season on DWTS. He has unfortunately only made the finale once, alongside Love Island host Ariana Madix. Pasha is also married to fellow pro Daniella Karagach, with whom he shares a child.

Val Chmerkovskiy

Like Mark, this would be the 21st season for Val Chmerkovskiy. One of the show’s most seasoned veterans, Val has only taken one season off between his debut in 2011 and now. During his numerous seasons, Val took home the Mirror Ball alongside Rumer Willis, Laurie Hernandez and most recently Xochitl Gomez. Val is married to fellow pro Jenna Johnson, and the two currently have a son. Val also competed alongside several reality luminaries in the Hulu series Got to Get Out.
Britt Stewart
In Season 29, Britt Stewart made DWTS history as the first Black woman to become a full-time pro. This fall marks her sixth year on the show. While Britt has yet to make the finale, she truly walked away the winner of Season 31 when she linked up romantically with her partner, Daniel Durant. Britt and the CODA star got hitched in August 2025.

Daniella Karagach started on DWTS only a season after her husband, Pasha. Season 34 would mark her sixth year on the show. Dani took home the win in her second season, making history with Iman Shumpert as the first NBA player to ever earn the Mirror Ball. In 2023, she gave birth to her daughter, Nikita.
Emma Slater

Season 34 would be a whopping 17th time on the dance floor for Emma Slater. She got engaged to former pro Sasha Farber on a DWTS live show in 2016, and the two got married in 2018. The couple eventually separated in 2022. Emma took home a win with former NFL player Rashad Jennings in Season 24.
Jenna Johnson

Jenna Johnson is the reigning champion pro, having brought home the win alongside former BachelorJoey Graziadei. That marks her second victory, as she also won her sophomore season with ice skater Adam Rippon. Season 34 would mark her ninth year on the show. Jenna married her fellow pro Val in 2019, and gave birth to the couple’s first child in 2023.

Rylee Arnold is the younger sister of former pro Lindsay Arnold. She started her DWTS career in Season 32, immediately drawing attention for her relationship with partner Harry Jowsey. Rylee made her first finale last year, finishing in fourth place with Olympic gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik.
Witney Carson

Season 34 would be Witney Carson’s 15th season on the show. She’s barely taken any time off since joining the show back in Season 18, only sitting out one season after giving birth to her second child. Witney won the Mirror Ball in her second season with Alfonso Ribiero, who is currently the Dancing with the Stars host.
