With Easter quickly approaching, you might be scrambling to get all of your eggs in one basket. And if you plan on buying any of your Easter supplies in bulk, you might be wondering about Costco’s Easter Sunday hours.
Membership holders know all too well that a visit to Costco can result in an overly crowded shopping experience. When everyone is acting on the same last-minute grocery needs, the days leading up to Easter can easily produce larger crowds than usual. And with the way new items arrive to the popular bulk warehouse on a daily basis, chances are you’ll find yourself returning for something you didn’t know you needed. Is Costco Open on Easter Sunday 2025?
You’ll want to get your bulk shopping needs taken care of by April 19, as all Costco stores will be closed on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025. Seeing as this is one of Costco’s standard holiday closures, fans can expect all U.S. Costco warehouses to be closed for 24 hours on Easter Sunday.
To dive even deeper into Costco’s holiday schedule, all Costco warehouses are closed on New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, according to the bulk retailer’s website.

There is some good news, however, for shoppers who can’t go more than 24 hours without visiting the famed bulk retailer: Costco will be open for regular operational hours the very next day, April 21, as well as every day leading up to Easter. This means there will be plenty of time to snag all the supplies you need for Easter, as well as start gearing up for the subsequent spring season after the holiday has passed.
Most Costco locations are open Monday through Friday from 10am to 8:30pm, Saturdays from 9:30am to 6pm and Sundays from 10am to 6pm.
