Here’s where the celebrities were hanging out in Toronto for TIFF night one

5 September 20252 Mins Read

TIFF is officially underway, and the celebs are out and about in Toronto! The 50th rendition of the festival kicked off on Sept. 4, and some of the biggest stars are already picking their hangouts after a long day on the red carpet.

Here are the celebrities that have been spotted so far.

Charli XCX

Brat girl fall, anyone?

Charli XCX attended the premiere for her movie Erupcja, but kept the night going on King West. The singer and actress was spotted at an afterparty at Vinny Toronto, a new restaurant and vinyl bar.

Jeremy O. Harris

Actor Jeremy O. Harris was also spotted at Vinny, joining co-star Charli XCX for the afterparty.

Ben Foster

Ben Foster also enjoys a night out on King West, apparently.

The actor, who stars in Motor City, was hanging out at Primadonna after the North American premiere of the film.

According to TIFF, the movie is about “When a ’70s-era everyman is framed by a ruthless local gangster, he emerges from prison determined to reclaim his life by any means necessary. Detroit native Jack White curates the propulsive score.”

Shailene Woodley

This movie star was also spotted at Primadonna, alongside her co-star, Ben Foster.

While he wasn’t spotted out, one of our writers did catch a glimpse of the Canadian actors on the red carpet as a producer of the documentary John Candy: I Like Me.

The film is a tribute to another Canadian actor, John Candy, who passed 31 years ago.

Who knows, maybe you’ll see him out in the city tonight!

We’ll keep our eyes peeled this weekend and keep you posted on TIFF celeb sightings, Toronto.
