Here’s why a group of naked people will be riding bikes in Toronto this weekend

10 June 20252 Mins Read

In just a few days, Toronto will see a bunch of naked people riding bikes through the city. Why? Well, it’s the return of the annual World Naked Bike Ride this weekend.

It’s the only time in the city where you’ll see a ton of naked people cruising around Toronto on their bikes. Mark your calendars for June 14, 2025.

According to organizers, the annual World Naked Bike Ride is a “global protest against the over usage of oil and urban pollution, promoting greater cycling safety on our roads, and encouraging body freedom for everyone.”

Riders are encouraged to join the legal ride, which is free of charge, and there’s no registration.

Here’s how it’ll work

All riders will meet at Coronation Park at 1 p.m., but if there are issues, Inukshuk Park will be the next meet-up spot, and lastly, the CNE Prince’s Gates, according to organizers.

“We are going to the CN Tower. We will bypass the ferry docks and go there. From there, we will head back to Queen’s Quay and continue to Sugar Beach, and then to Coronation Park. Please get dressed after the ride. We don’t want issues with the police,” shares the organizers.

If you want to go for the ride but want to wear clothes, that is allowed. Organizers only ask that those with clothes be courteous and ride at the end. If you’re renting a bike, please make sure to cover the seat, not just for everyone, but for yourself, too.

The route map can be found online.

The World Naked Bike Ride originated in Vancouver, and now occurs in over 80 cities worldwide.

When: June 14, 2025
Where: Starts at Coronation Park
