Hilton has announced its latest expansion in the Caribbean with the opening of Delfins Beach Resort Bonaire, part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton. This marks Hilton’s debut in Bonaire, a Caribbean Island and territory of the Netherlands. The move is part of Hilton’s accelerated growth in the Caribbean region, which currently hosts over 45 Hilton hotels and has around 35 more in different development stages.
Jenna Hackett, Senior Vice President and Global Leader of Hilton Lifestyle Brands, shared that Delfins Beach Resort Bonaire’s distinct character makes it an ideal location for the Tapestry Collection by Hilton. The resort, renowned for its pristine nature and rich cultural identity, provides guests with local cuisine and access to world-class diving, adding to the island’s authentic experience.
The oceanfront resort features 148 rooms and offers guests an immersive cultural experience. It houses an on-site dive center, two outdoor pools, a beach, a beach spa, a state-of-the-art gym, and dining facilities inspired by Bonaire’s culinary traditions. Additionally, the resort offers versatile spaces for meetings and events.
Chris Opgenoort, General Manager of Delfins Beach Resort Bonaire, expressed pride in partnering with Hilton, noting the added advantage of Hilton’s commercial scale and its global Hilton Honors loyalty program.
Over the past decade, Hilton’s aggressive growth strategy in the Caribbean and Latin America has broadened its regional reach, launching new brands and entering new territories. In 2025, Hilton plans to add Zemi Miches All-inclusive Resort, a 500-room property in Playa Esmeralda, and Hampton by Hilton St. Thomas to its portfolio.
Hilton Honors, the guest-loyalty program for Hilton’s hotel brands, offers numerous benefits to guests, including flexible payment options, member discounts, and free Wi-Fi. The Hilton Honors mobile app provides digital tools for a seamless booking and stay experience.
