Additionally, new Canopy by Hilton hotels are planned for Miami’s Brickell area and Fort Lauderdale’s Las Olas, complementing the existing property in West Palm Beach. The Tapestry Collection by Hilton is also set to double its presence in Florida with developments in St. Augustine, Fernandina Beach, and Daytona Beach.
Recent additions to Hilton’s portfolio in Florida include properties such as THesis Hotel Miami Coral Gables and The Hiatus Clearwater Beach, both part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, as well as Castillo Real St. Augustine Beach from the Tapestry Collection by Hilton.
Hilton’s relationship with Florida dates back to 1982, and the company has steadily increased its footprint across the state. Currently, Hilton operates hotels under 17 different brands in Florida. The company’s future plans include nearly 140 properties in development across 15 brands. Notable upcoming projects include luxury developments like the Waldorf Astoria Miami and the Signia by Hilton Diplomat Beach Resort, along with the full-service Hilton Miami Bayfront.
