Hilton has announced its first Signia by Hilton hotel in the Asia Pacific, set to open in Jaipur, India, in 2028. The signing underscores Hilton’s commitment to strengthening its luxury portfolio in India and extending its footprint in Rajasthan.
Hilton recently announced the signing of its first Signia by Hilton hotel in the Asia Pacific region. The luxury brand’s debut in Jaipur, India, underscores Hilton’s continued focus on expanding its luxury portfolio in India. This move follows the recent opening of Signia by Hilton Amman, the brand’s first hotel outside the United States.
Developed in collaboration with Sandeep Bakshi and Family LLP, the 216-bedroom hotel in Jaipur is set to open in 2028. This signing solidifies Hilton’s presence in Rajasthan, building on previous agreements and adding to the existing Hilton Jaipur and DoubleTree by Hilton Jaipur Amer.
Alan Watts, President of Asia Pacific at Hilton, noted that Jaipur’s rich cultural heritage, vibrant tourism sector, and growing significance as a business hub make it an ideal location for the Signia by Hilton brand. The new hotel will be located 28 kilometers from Jaipur International Airport, with easy access to the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, making it conveniently accessible for travelers from Delhi NCR.
Sandeep Bakshi, managing partner of Sandeep Bakshi and Family LLP, expressed his excitement about the collaboration with Hilton. He highlighted Jaipur’s historical association with luxury and world-class hospitality and his belief that the arrival of Signia by Hilton will elevate the city’s hospitality stature.
The hotel, designed to meet the growing demand for world-class meetings and events, will offer over 2,250 square meters of event space, including a 9,700 square-foot grand ballroom. Guests will choose standard rooms, executive suites, and private pool villas. Other amenities include the exclusive Club Signia lounge, an artificial lagoon, diverse dining options, a spa, a fitness center, pools, and a kids’ club.
Clarence Tan, senior vice president of Development, Asia Pacific, highlighted that signing Signia by Hilton Jaipur is a significant step towards doubling Hilton’s luxury estate in India. This move complements Waldorf Astoria Jaipur’s and Conrad Jaipur’s recent signings, demonstrating Hilton’s commitment to serving sophisticated customers seeking offerings that meet business and leisure needs.
Hilton’s portfolio of trading and pipeline hotels in South Asia now stands at 64.
