Hilton has opened a dual-branded hotel, Tru by Hilton and Homewood Suites by Hilton, in Saltillo, Mexico.

Hilton has announced the opening of a dual-branded hotel in Saltillo, Mexico, featuring Tru by Hilton and Homewood Suites by Hilton. The development, owned by American Hotels Group, is situated in Saltillo, the capital of Coahuila de Zaragoza state, which is recognized as a rapidly growing industrial hub. This opening is part of Hilton’s ongoing expansion in Mexico, where the company currently operates over 110 hotels and has more than 40 additional properties in development.

The new hotel is strategically positioned on Saltillo’s main highway, approximately three miles from the city center and less than eight miles from Aeropuerto Internacional Plan de Guadalupe. The location offers convenient access to local attractions, including the Parque Centro shopping complex, the Museo del Desierto, and the Santa María and Ramos Arizpe Industrial Parks.

The dual-branded property offers a range of amenities designed to cater to both business and leisure travelers. Shared facilities include a complimentary hot breakfast buffet, an on-site restaurant serving northern Mexican cuisine, a bar with handcrafted cocktails, and a 24-hour convenience store. Guests can also utilize a heated pool, a fitness center, and a lobby with a foosball table. For business needs, the hotel features eight meeting rooms with nearly 4,300 square feet of flexible event space.

Tru by Hilton Saltillo comprises 74 rooms, marking the brand’s second location in Mexico. The hotel is designed to offer a lifestyle-driven lodging experience, featuring rooms that include workspaces, oversized windows, and spacious bathrooms. The lobby features a custom-designed mural and vibrant zones for socializing and working.

Homewood Suites by Hilton Saltillo, the third of its brand in Mexico, offers 84 suites designed for extended stays. The suites include separate living and sleeping areas, fully equipped kitchens, and are decorated in gray hues with fuchsia accents.

Hilton’s expansion in Saltillo aligns with the company’s broader growth strategy in the Caribbean and Latin America, where it currently operates over 290 hotels and has a development pipeline of more than 140 projects.
