Hilton has opened a new 252-room hotel on the Mayo Clinic campus in Jacksonville, Florida.
Hilton has announced the opening of its new hotel, Hilton Jacksonville at Mayo Clinic, marking the first full-service hotel to open in Jacksonville in nearly two decades. The hotel is situated on the Mayo Clinic campus and is scheduled to begin construction in 2023. It features eight stories and 252 rooms, including 21 suites, and is designed to accommodate a variety of travelers, including leisure guests, corporate visitors, and families.
The property spans over 184,000 square feet and is managed by Concord Hospitality. It is situated minutes away from Jacksonville’s beaches, golf courses, and cultural attractions. The hotel offers more than 21,000 square feet of event space, including a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, boardrooms, and an outdoor event lawn.
Amenities at the Hilton Jacksonville at Mayo Clinic include a resort-style outdoor heated pool, a 24-hour fitness center, and a lobby coffee shop offering smoothies and locally sourced coffee. The hotel also features in-room dining services.
The hotel’s signature restaurant, Coastal Kitchen, provides a menu inspired by wellness, featuring seafood and seasonal ingredients. The restaurant’s offerings include Mayport Shrimp Rolls and Achiote Mahi Tacos.
