Hilton has opened the Hilton Hyderabad Genome Valley Resort & Spa, marking its entry into Hyderabad, India.
Hilton has announced the opening of the Hilton Hyderabad Genome Valley Resort & Spa, marking the company’s first property in Hyderabad, India. The resort is situated in Genome Valley, an area known for its biotechnology industry, and spans 20 acres. This development is part of Hilton’s ongoing expansion in South Asia.
The resort features 115 guest accommodations, including 13 pool villas and six suites. The resort’s design incorporates elements inspired by Telangana’s cultural heritage, specifically Kakatiya architecture, known for its detailed stonework and sculptural elements. Sustainable design practices have been integrated into the construction, utilizing locally sourced materials and energy-efficient systems.
The Hilton Hyderabad Genome Valley Resort & Spa offers 89,000 square feet of event space, which includes two pillarless ballrooms, five meeting rooms, and outdoor areas such as a pool deck and expansive lawns. These facilities are intended to cater to both corporate events and large-scale celebrations, such as weddings.
The resort also includes a spa under the eforea brand, which is making its debut in India. The spa features eight treatment rooms and offers a range of wellness services. Recreational amenities at the resort include facilities for basketball, pickleball, cricket, futsal, mini golf, and tennis. There is also a dedicated arcade and gaming area for children.
Culinary options at the resort include several dining venues offering international and local cuisines. These include Gingerfire, which focuses on Asian flavors, and Yuzu, which provides a fusion of Japanese, Chinese, Thai, and Nikkei cuisines. Other dining options include Nero, a poolside restaurant, and Drip, a quick-service outlet for tea, coffee, and pastries.
The resort is located in the Turkapally area of the Medchal-Malkajgiri District in Hyderabad. This opening adds to Hilton’s portfolio in Asia Pacific, which includes recent additions in Shanghai and Kyoto.
