Hilton has announced the opening of three hotels at Barr Al Jissah, a coastal destination in Oman. The new properties, Al Husn Hotel Muscat, Hilton Muscat Al Bandar, and DoubleTree by Hilton Muscat Al Waha, are located approximately 40 minutes from Muscat International Airport. The Zubair Corporation owns the hotels.
Al Husn Hotel Muscat features 180 guest rooms and suites, offering views of the Gulf of Oman. The hotel is designed with elements inspired by an Omani fort and features amenities including a private beach, an infinity pool, and a spa. Renovations are planned for 2027, after which the hotel will be rebranded as a Waldorf Astoria.
Hilton Muscat Al Bandar serves as a hub for both lifestyle and business activities. It includes a ballroom that can accommodate up to 850 guests, outdoor event spaces, and an amphitheater. The hotel has 198 guest rooms and features a poolside bar and multiple dining options.
DoubleTree by Hilton Muscat Al Waha offers 302 guest rooms and suites, designed to reflect the style of an Omani village. The resort features multiple pools and a waterslide, catering to families. Guests have access to shared facilities across the Barr Al Jissah complex.
The three hotels share amenities, including swimming pools, tennis courts, and more than 500 meters of private beachfront. Water sports such as kayaking and diving are available, supported by a PADI-certified dive center. The complex also offers spa facilities with treatments inspired by local ingredients.
These openings are part of Hilton’s strategy to expand its footprint in the Middle East and support Oman’s Vision 2040, which aims to attract 11 million visitors annually. The hotels are integrated into the Hilton Honors loyalty program, offering members benefits such as flexible payment options and exclusive discounts.
