Hilton has announced the signing of Signia by Hilton Tainan, marking the brand’s first entry into the Asia-Pacific region, with an expected opening in July 2026.
Hilton has entered into an agreement with Forte Hotel Group to open Signia by Hilton Tainan in Taiwan. This development will introduce the Signia by Hilton brand to the Asia-Pacific market for the first time. The hotel is scheduled to open in July 2026 in Tainan, a city known for its cultural heritage and business activities.
The new property will feature 344 rooms and will be situated in the heart of Tainan, providing convenient access to local attractions, a luxury shopping complex, and over 50 museums. The location is approximately a 30-minute drive from Tainan Airport and Tainan Railway Station, with Kaohsiung Airport reachable within an hour.
Signia by Hilton Tainan will include over 1,850 square meters of meeting space, equipped with modern technology to support business events. The hotel will offer a variety of dining options, including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, and a lobby lounge. Guests staying in Club Signia rooms and suites will have access to exclusive services and amenities.
The hotel will also provide wellness facilities, including a spa and a fitness center. These amenities are designed to cater to both leisure and business travelers seeking relaxation and rejuvenation during their stay.
This project is part of Hilton’s strategy to expand its luxury and lifestyle portfolio, which currently includes 1,000 operational hotels and an additional 500 under development globally. The Tainan property follows recent developments, including the opening of Signia by Hilton Amman and the signing of a new property in Jaipur, India.
