Tru by Hilton has opened its first location in Chile – Tru by Hilton Chillan Ferrat. This launch marks the brand’s expansion in the Caribbean and Latin America, following its successful entry into Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia markets.
Since its regional debut in 2022, Tru by Hilton has been on an accelerated growth track, and the new Chilean hotel further solidifies this trajectory. The brand currently has 25 hotel projects in various stages of development, gearing up for premieres in six additional markets within the next four years, including Argentina, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Puerto Rico.
The Tru by Hilton Chillan Ferrat hotel, owned, developed, and managed by Hotelera FG, features 91 rooms. The rooms have oversized windows for natural light and spacious bathrooms. Additionally, the hotel offers a fully equipped gym and complimentary Wi-Fi. The lobby area has designated work, relaxation, dining, and play spaces.
Located in a prime area of Chillan, the hotel is a mere 850 meters from farmers’ markets, a shopping center, and iconic tourist attractions. The hotel features the “Top It” breakfast bar, where guests can customize their meals. The hotel also houses a 24/7 market with snacks, beverages, and travel essentials, ensuring guests have round-the-clock access to necessities.
The hotel is in Chillan’s city center, close to Museo Claudio Arrau and the Plaza de Armas, home of the modern St. Charles Borromeo Cathedral. Chillan, located approximately 400km south of Santiago, is the gateway to popular ski destinations such as Laguna del Laja National Park and Nevados de Chillan.
Hilton currently operates nearly 280 hotels across the Caribbean and Latin America, with a pipeline of more than 130 additional hotels in development.
