‘Horimiya’ Coming to Netflix in Select Regions in May 2026

Another CloverWorks anime series, Horimiya, is headed to Netflix in mutliple regions on May 15, 2026. Outside of Asia, the romance anime has never been available to stream on Netflix, so subscribers in select regions will finally have access to it for the first time.

Horimiya is a Japanese romantic anime series produced by CloverWorks and based on the manga of the same name by author Daisuke Hagiwara. The adaptation is written by Takao Yoshioka and directed by Masashi Ishihama.

A handful of CloverWorks anime titles have been released on Netflix in select regions recently, including Wind Breaker, Spy x Family, and The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity.

Kyouko Hori is a popular and outgoing high school student who develops an unexpected friendship with her quiet classmate, Izumu Miyamura, after a chance encounter leads them to discover each other’s secret selves outside of school. As their friendship grows and the bond deepens, it blossoms into love.
