Hotel Heron Announces Leadership Appointments in Alexandria

Hotel Heron, located in Old Town Alexandria, has appointed Peter Triolo as General Manager and Matt Talley as Director of Lifestyle. Triolo will oversee all operational aspects of the property, including guest services, team leadership, and strategic planning. Talley will manage programming, partnerships, activations, and guest experiences.

Triolo brings more than two decades of experience in hospitality and food-and-beverage leadership. He graduated from the California Culinary Academy and began his career with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, holding food-and-beverage leadership roles in London, Hawaii, San Francisco, and Miami. He later worked at The Culinary Institute of America, contributing to food and beverage operations and educational restaurant programs. Triolo subsequently joined LodgeWorks Partners, where he was involved in the opening of Archer Hotel Napa before moving to Archer Hotel Tysons. He held several leadership positions during his tenure, including Director of Food and Beverage, Director of Operations, General Manager, and Corporate Director of Food and Beverage.

Talley has more than 15 years of experience in brand management, marketing, and event activation. His background includes producing events and content for brands such as Netflix, Bacardi, and Soho House. He has worked with agencies, production companies, and talent representatives on brand partnerships, campaigns, and community initiatives.
