Hotel Indigo Opens New Location in Gatlinburg, Tennessee

Hotel Indigo has opened a new 136-room hotel in downtown Gatlinburg, Tennessee, marking its 175th property worldwide.

Hotel Indigo has officially opened its new property in downtown Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Hotel Indigo Gatlinburg Downtown features 136 rooms and is located at 229 East Parkway, near the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This opening marks the 175th Hotel Indigo property globally.

The hotel includes a rooftop dining area with panoramic views of the Smoky Mountains and offers 9,300 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space. Viral 24 LLC owns the property. The hotel’s design incorporates elements inspired by the Art Deco period and the natural surroundings of the Smoky Mountains.

The hotel offers a variety of room options, including standard King and double Queen rooms, as well as four signature one-bedroom suites. Amenities in the rooms include a 55-inch television, mini fridge, coffee maker, and bath products. Select rooms also feature private balconies.

Dining options at the hotel include the Altitude Restaurant and Rooftop Bar, which serves locally sourced American cuisine and is open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. A Starbucks is also located on the first floor, offering beverages and grab-and-go options from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Additional facilities include a heated infinity-edge pool with a swim-up bar, a fitness center equipped with modern exercise equipment, and meeting and event spaces suitable for various gatherings and events. The hotel is pet-friendly, allowing dogs up to 100 pounds in select rooms for a fee.

The hotel is situated 40 miles from McGhee Tyson Airport and is conveniently located near local attractions, including Anakeesta Outdoor Adventure Park and Ober Mountain Adventure Park. Parking is available on-site for a daily fee, and electric vehicle charging stations are provided.

In celebration of the opening, introductory room rates start at $179 per night, with additional offers available through November 19, 2025.
