Hotel La Compañía del Valle, a new addition to The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, has opened its doors in the Valle de Antón, a countryside retreat 50 miles west of Panama City. The luxury hotel offers 40 guestrooms and suites, with 30 expected to debut by May 2025.
This new establishment represents a significant step in the brand’s expansion of luxury offerings in Panama and sets a new standard for transformative hospitality in the region. It is the first to combine art and wellness, offering guests unparalleled experiences in the mountainside.
The hotel’s design takes inspiration from Tuscany, creating a sanctuary that embraces the beauty of El Valle de Antón. The 70 spacious guestrooms and suites are spread across four wings, each featuring balconies and terraces overlooking the mountains, garden courtyard, or surrounding common spaces. The rooms have a modern and elegant aesthetic incorporating natural undertones, creating a refined and welcoming experience.
Hotel La Compañía del Valle uniquely combines personalized service, art, and wellness. It features a one-of-a-kind sculpture park with over 200 art pieces placed around the corridors and public areas. The Elysium Spa, opening in May 2025, serves as the hotel’s central feature, offering diverse natural healing treatments and experiences.
Executive Chef Patrice Jaumon, known for his modern take on Panamanian cuisine, leads the hotel’s culinary offerings. The gastronomy program includes onsite restaurants; each pegged to an element: fire, earth, and wind. The hotel also offers more than 11,000 square feet of event space, making it suitable for a wide range of celebrations, meetings, and events.

Hotel La Compañía del Valle represents the second hotel to open under the La Compañía Hotels & Resorts portfolio, part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt.
