Hotel101 Global has completed the structural phase of its 482-room hotel in Niseko, Japan, with an expected opening in December 2026.
Hotel101 Global has announced the topping-off of its Hotel101-Niseko project in Hirafu, Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan. The hotel, which will feature 482 rooms, is set to be one of the largest in the area by room count. The completion of the building’s structure marks a significant milestone, with interior finishing works scheduled to follow. The hotel is on track to open in December 2026, in time for the 2026-2027 winter season.
The property occupies a 1.17-hectare site and is located approximately two minutes by shuttle from the ski lifts. Hotel101-Niseko is designed to cater to a variety of travelers, including families, couples, and groups visiting the popular ski destination. The hotel will offer amenities such as an all-day dining restaurant, meeting spaces, a business center, an indoor swimming pool, a hot mineral onsen bath, sauna and wellness facilities, a 24-hour front desk, ski lockers, and a convenience store. Additionally, a complimentary shuttle service to the Grand Hirafu lifts will be available.
Niseko is a well-known ski destination, attracting over two million international visitors annually. The new hotel aims to accommodate this influx of tourists by providing a substantial number of rooms and various amenities to enhance the guest experience. The development of Hotel101-Niseko is part of Hotel101 Global’s broader strategy to expand its presence in key international markets.
The project is progressing on schedule, with the opening planned to coincide with the peak winter tourism season. Hotel101 Global, listed on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange, continues to pursue its expansion strategy, with other projects underway in Madrid, Spain, and Los Angeles, United States. The company has also entered into agreements to develop additional hotels in Saudi Arabia and Italy, subject to regulatory approvals.
