How an immersive HARIBO experience in Toronto supports SickKids

8 August 20252 Mins Read

Love it or hate it, back-to-school season is upon us — and shopping is on the agenda. To help make the transition even sweeter, be sure to swing by the Toronto Eaton Centre from August 19 to 24.

Not only will you find everything you need at the myriad of stores and sales, but you’ll also find a fun and exciting surprise from HARIBO.

Welcome to HARIBO’s World of Phantasia

On the second floor, just outside of Alo, you’ll discover HARIBO’s World of Phantasia — inspired by HARIBO Phantasia, a colourful jumble of candy fun.

In support of SickKids, the fun pop-up from the beloved gummy company combines family fun with a charitable cause — inviting children and adults alike to draw a picture that will come to life through an AI generator.

Watch as these drawings appear alongside other creations on a large screen, where visitors can interact with them.

It’s all in support of SickKids, with proceeds directly benefiting the hospital’s ChildLife Programs, which help young patients and their families cope with the challenges of hospitalization through therapeutic play, education, and emotional support.

Sweet support

And it wouldn’t be a HARIBO event without plenty of candy. The 105-year-old family business is known for its classic Goldbears and has expanded to a wide range of tasty treats over the last three generations.

Will you try the fantastical Phantasia gummy candies? With free samples onsite, the answer is likely yes! This confectionery concoction is a mixture of classic treats in wacky colours, making for a perfect blend of fantastic fun.

While you’re at it, treat yourself to a few extra bags. Every bag of candy purchased at the event contributes directly to SickKids.

Back-to-school season has never been sweeter. Grab your family or friends and head to the Eaton Centre to discover the magic of HARIBO’s World of Phantasia. You’ll contribute to a good cause while also treating yourself to a bag of HARIBO gummies.

HARIBO’s World of Phantasia

When: Aug. 19 to 24, 2025
Time: Mall hours
Where: CF Toronto Eaton Centre, second floor outside of Alo — 220 Yonge St.
Cost: Free
