Crimson Dye Beach in Ghost of Yōtei is home to multiple red-stained pieces of fabric. Typically, when you visit a location named after a dye, you’ll find a merchant who sells masks and armor dyes in specific colors, but, at Crimson Dye Beach, there is no merchant in sight. However, if you take a closer look, you’ll notice a boat off in the distance that has to be carrying some crimson-colored goodies.
Here’s how to call in the merchant’s ship at the Crimson Dye Beach in Ghost of Yōtei.
How to call the merchant’s boat at Crimson Dye Beach
Crimson Dye Beach is located on the Stone Jaw Coast, which is just north of Ishikari Castle in the Ishikari Plains.
As you explore the beach, you’ll notice that there isn’t a merchant nearby, but you can spot their boat offshores. If you search around the beach, you’ll encounter a sign that says “Light the fire. The flames will call me.” You might think that you need to start a grand fire to bring the merchant ashore, but the answer is actually just beside the sign.
Look towards the ground beside the sign to spot a campfire. Light the fire to start a cutscene that shows the boat and the Crimson Dye Merchant have appeared on the shore.
