Reliquary of Compassion location in Ghost of Yōtei
The Reliquary of Compassion is located on the north side of Teshio Ridge. To reach the Reliquary of Compassion, head to the northern side of Sarobetsu Lake, where you’ll find a red torii gate and the entrance to the Chilled Peak Shrine.
Navigating your way up the path is similar to other shrines. You’ll need to climb walls and jump from branches like usual, but this time, you’ll need to stand beside campfires to keep warm.
Follow the path until you slide onto a frozen lake with a campfire on your right. Rather than heading to the campfire, you want to go to the left — where there’s another fire — and follow the trail upwards. It will take you to an opening you can squeeze through to access the Reliquary of Compassion.
Reliquary of Compassion puzzle solution in Ghost of Yōtei
As we mentioned before, you must have the Altered Hankyu bow, which is the first upgrade for the Hankyu bow and how you unlock fire arrows. If you don’t have it, visit the Yōtei’s Shadow Inn and talk to Ran, the Bowyer.
Armed with your Altered Hankyu bow, it’s time to work on the Reliquary of Compassion puzzle. First, use fire arrows to light the bowls in front of the four fox statues. This will keep Atsu warm and give you some time to turn each statue.
To receive your rewards, you need to turn the statues to have the wolves’ eyes on the mountain’s hearth.
To help you solve the Reliquary of Compassion puzzle, we’ve numbered the statues, which can be seen in the image above. Follow the instructions below to complete the puzzle:
- Turn statue one once.
- Turn statue two twice.
- Turn statue one once.
- Turn statue three twice.
- Turn statue four twice.
Once the last statue stops moving, a short scene will play, and you will receive your rewards. If you made a mistake, don’t worry because you can reset the puzzle by fast traveling to the reliquary.
