Bag upgrades are one of the most important features in Pokémon Pokopia, because as you build new habitats and help your new Pokémon friends, you need to carry more materials. From food to a personal stock of small logs, stones, and leaves, the number of items in your bag constantly increases.
While you can build storage chests to free some slots in your inventory, the best solution to have a bigger inventory is to learn how to unlock bag upgrades in Pokémon Pokopia.
How to unlock bag upgrades in Pokémon Pokopia
To unlock bag upgrades in Pokémon Pokopia, you need to buy the Packing Tips sold via the PC shop. There are four tiers of Packing Tips, and they become available as you progress in the campaign and raise the Environment Level of the main areas. You can buy each upgrade only once.
By buying all the Packing Tips, you end up having 120 slots in your inventory divided into four pages of 30 slots. Below, see all the upgrades, their costs, and how to unlock them:

The second tier of bag upgrade you can buy is Intermediate, and it becomes available once you reach Environment Level 2 at either Rocky Ridges or Bleak Beach. Costing 500 gold, this upgrade adds one extra inventory page of 30 slots.
Packing Tips: Pro

You can buy this Pro bag upgrade once you reach Environment Level 2 in either Rocky Ridge or Bleak Beach, whichever one is the third area you are visit. This upgrade takes you to three inventory pages and it costs 1,000 gold.
Packing Tips: Expert
Area: Sparkling Skylands
Sparkling Skylands is the final area in the game and, by reaching Environment Level 2 in it, you can buy the last Packing Tips upgrade. The Expert tier adds another page to your inventory for 1,500 gold.
