Use aspects to spice up your runs
Weapon aspects fundamentally change how you use each Nocturnal Arm in Hades 2. Each Nocturnal Arm has three weapon aspects that will adjust your moves, give you buffs, and, ultimately, change your playstyle. However, to discover them, you’ll need to learn an incantation that can be a bit tricky to find.

How to unlock weapon aspects in Hades 2
To unlock weapon aspects, you’ll need to complete the “Aspects of Night and Darkness” incantation at the Cauldron. However, discovering the incantation is a little up in the air. In the early access period, you would learn the incantation after defeating Hecate with each weapon. From our experience, the incantation appeared at the Cauldron after we defeated Chronos twice, but this was before we defeated Hecate at least once with every weapon.
After you’ve completed the incantation, head to the Silver Pool in the center of the staging area to see the available aspects along with their unlock costs.
All weapon aspects in Hades 2
There are six different Nocturnal Arms in Hades 2 and each weapon has four aspects — three unlocked with the “Aspects of Night and Darkness” incantation and one hidden aspect. Below, we’ve listed the three default aspects along with their unlock costs.
