Capcom, the publisher and developer behind 2026 hits Resident Evil Requiem and Pragmata, has announced it will hold a new Capcom Spotlight Showcase on June 25. With two certified bangers already under its belt this year, Capcom is ready to look forward to what it has in store for gamers in the back half of 2026.
In the announcement for the Spotlight showcase, Capcom notes that it will cover games in the company’s already announced lineup. That means you shouldn’t expect anything new to appear in the livestream’s half hour, but that still leaves plenty of exciting titles for Capcom to share updates on. The games that are confirmed to appear include Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, the latest entry in the Monster Hunter spinoff series that released March 13. It is possible a side story starring the main game’s Rudy will be officially revealed, as a store listing can be seen on the Switch store.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword, the first mainline entry in two decades for Capcom’s action series, is also slated to appear. We already know the game is set for a Sept. 25 release, and we called it one of the best things we played at Summer Game Fest this year, so expect some more gameplay in a flashy trailer.
The final confirmed title to appear at the Spotlight showcase is Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen. The update to Capcom’s 2024 action RPG was announced during a Nintendo Direct showcase earlier this month and will include quality of life updates as well as an entirely new region. The original Dragon’s Dogma also received a Dark Arisen edition that helped sand down some of its rough edges and is now seen as the definitive edition of the game, so Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen is still a title to look out for if you’ve played the base game or not.
While it seems likely Capcom will focus on the rest of 2026, there is still a possibility some of the company’s other announced titles make brief appearances. If that is the case, likely candidates for updates include Monster Hunter Wilds and the recently announced Resident Evil – Code: Veronica remake. The former announced a new expansion, titled Ascendance, during Summer Game Fest with a 2027 release window. The latter similarly got a 2027 release window alongside a stunning announcement trailer during the same showcase.
The June 2026 Capcom Spotlight will stream via Capcom’s official YouTube channel on Thursday, June 25, starting at 2 p.m. PDT/5 p.m. EST/10 p.m. UTC. The Showcase is planned to run for 30 minutes.
