The Washington, D.C., chapter of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International today invited hospitality professionals from throughout the DMV to attend its annual Directors Roundtable on Nov. 20 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City at Reagan National Airport in Arlington, Virginia.

The program will feature five top minds in the hospitality industry who will share insights on the DMV hotel market; 2026 hotel marketing trends and benchmarks; scenario planning and forecasting for the DMV’s unique risk factors; and case studies submitted by the audience.

Guest speakers will be Bart Berkey, a motivational speaker, bestselling author and 16-year former executive of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company; Melissa Riley, a 22-year veteran of Destination DC, where she serves as senior vice president, convention sales and services; Kristi White, Groups360 vice president of data, reporting and analytics; Jennifer Hill, Kalibri senior vice president, commercial strategy, and a HSMAI DC board member; and Stephanie Smith, Cogwheel Marketing & Analytics founder and digital matriarch.

Registration and a networking reception with continental breakfast will begin Nov. 20 at 8:30 a.m., and the event will conclude at noon. The Directors Roundtable is free for HSMAI DC members and $70 for nonmembers. Click HERE to register.

“This year’s Directors Roundtable, ‘Leading with Impact,’ promises an exclusive morning of insight, strategy and peer collaboration,” said Jeremy Huvard, and HSMAI DC chapter president and Donohoe Hospitality Services regional director of sales and marketing. “This high-impact program will center on mission-driven leadership, team culture and measurable outcomes, which are the pillars of sustainable success in today’s hospitality landscape.

“The event also will explore how directors and aspiring directors can drive meaningful results by enhancing client experiences, embracing digital innovation and leading teams through change with empathy and accountability.”

The event is recommended for sales directors, revenue optimization managers, catering directors, marketing directors, general managers, distribution directors and regional sales, marketing, revenue and distribution teams. Hotel professionals aspiring to any of those roles also are encouraged to attend.

The Hyatt Regency Crystal City at Reagan National Airport is at 2799 Richmond Hwy in Arlington. The hotel offers valet parking. The Crystal City Metro Station is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. The hotel’s airport shuttle serves the Reagan National Airport Metro station, about a five-minute ride from the hotel.

The event is sponsored by Tambourine, HSMAI DC’s Platinum Partner; the Hyatt Regency Crystal City at Reagan National Airport, venue sponsor; and RDRPR LLC, photography sponsor.
