Hulk Hogan’s wife, Sky Daily Hogan, paid tribute to her late husband while celebrating stepson Nick Hogan’s birthday.
“Happy birthday @nickhogan! We love you so much. Your dad couldn’t have been prouder of the son you are … loyal, loving, hard-working, and always there when it mattered most,” Sky captioned the Sunday, July 27, Instagram post. “The strength and heart you’ve shown all along means more than I can say. I’m so grateful for you, and I know Terry felt the same every single day.”
Hogan’s real name was Terry Gene Bollea.
Sky, 46, chose a sweet photo of the father-son duo, which captured a moment when the wrestling legend gave Nick, 35, a big side hug. Nick leaned into his dad as he smiled widely and threw up the shaka sign.

“Thank you so much Sky, I really appreciate everything you did for my father and are doing for all of us at this time,” Nick replied in the comments section.
Nick celebrates his 35th birthday three days after his father died following a cardiac arrest. Hogan was 71 years old.
The late Hogan Knows Best star was pronounced dead at Morton Plant Hospital in Florida after an ambulance attempted to save his life during transport.
Nick broke his silence about his father’s death on Thursday, July 26, after processing the “overwhelming and extremely difficult” tragedy in private for two days.
During the heartfelt message, the DJ reflected on spending a lot of time together over the recent years.
“I am so grateful for those memories. They are the best moments in my life. I would do anything to have him back but I know now that he will always be watching over me,” he wrote. “I will always remember the lessons and advice he gave me and carry on in a way that I know would make him proud.”
In addition to Nick, Hogan was also the father of daughter Brooke Hogan. Both adult children were welcomed during Hogan’s marriage to his first wife, Linda Claridge.
