Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) is capitalizing on its successful deal momentum in 2024, announcing ambitious expansion plans with seven new hotel openings anticipated in 2025. This strategic initiative follows the successful signing of 21 new property deals across India and Southwest Asia in 2024, solidifying Hyatt’s position as a significant hospitality player in the region.
In 2025, Hyatt is set to open seven hotels in the Indian cities of Ghaziabad, Kasauli, Kochi, Bhopal, Vithalapur, and Jaipur, as well as Butwal in Nepal. These locations represent a strategic blend of business, religious, and leisure travel destinations catering to domestic and international travelers.
Hyatt has set a goal of operating 100 hotels in India within the next five years, marking a significant contribution to the country’s burgeoning hospitality landscape.
In 2024, Hyatt’s growth was characterized by strategic signings across segments, including key business hubs like GIFT City, Greater Noida, and expanding presence in Mumbai and Bengaluru. The company also forayed into new leisure and cultural destinations, including Vrindavan, Kumbhalgarh, Katra, Kandaghat, Jim Corbett National Park, and Pushkar. Hyatt also extended its footprint in popular getaway locations like Goa and Jaipur, and introduced the Andaz and JdV by Hyatt brands in India.

Currently, Hyatt operates 52 hotels across Southwest Asia, including 50 in India and two in Nepal, spanning nine distinct brands. The company recently crossed the milestone of 10,000 keys in the region.
